27 years ago today, we experienced β€œNocturnal Fear” from the β€œMaster of Disharmony” on the β€œDevil’s Path”!



On this day (June 19) in 1996, Norwegian Black Metallers Dimmu Borgir released their EP β€œDevil's Path” via Hot Records.



β€œDevil’s Path” was reissued as a split EP in 1999 along with the Old Man's Child EP β€œIn the Shades of Life”, eventually becoming known as β€œSons of Satan Gather for Attack”.




The title track would later be re-recorded and released as part of the special edition of their album β€œPuritanical Euphoric Misanthropia”.



The EP also included two cover versions of the Celtic Frost song "Nocturnal Fear", one of which was bi-lined as (Celtically Processed).
