27 years ago today, we experienced “Nocturnal Fear” from the “Master of Disharmony” on the “Devil’s Path”!

On this day (June 19) in 1996, Norwegian Black Metallers Dimmu Borgir released their EP “Devil's Path” via Hot Records.

“Devil’s Path” was reissued as a split EP in 1999 along with the Old Man's Child EP “In the Shades of Life”, eventually becoming known as “Sons of Satan Gather for Attack”.

The title track would later be re-recorded and released as part of the special edition of their album “Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia”.

The EP also included two cover versions of the Celtic Frost song "Nocturnal Fear", one of which was bi-lined as (Celtically Processed).
