On November 19, 2010, Samael released their EP Antigod via Nuclear Blast Records.
Background:
As a precursor to the bands ninth full-length studio album,Lux Mundi (2011), Samael released the mini album Antigod, which featured the two live tracks, Reign of Light and Slavocracy, along with a remix and new version of the song Into the Pentagram from their first album Worship Him (1991). The EP also features the title track along with a remix dubbed the Antigod (Dark Night Remix). The final trqck on the EP is a song titled Ten Thousand Years.
Samael toured Europe with Finntroll and Rotting Christ in support of the mini album.
On April 29, 2011 Lux Mundi was released.
The band later toured in Europe with Keep of Kalessin and Melechesh.
