Band Bio:

Poison were a Death/Thrash Metal band from Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. They were formed in 1982. They participated on the Teutonic Invasion Part One sampler LP by Roadrunner Records in 1987. A stipulation of being featured included signing a contract with Roadrunner forbidding the band to sign a contract with any other company within a twelve month period, though Roadrunner could decide to sign them within this time frame. After around six months of waiting and rehearsing, Poison split-up. It is unlikely that Poison would have been signed even if they had continued to exist; of the bands featured on the sampler, only Violent Force and Paradox received an offer from Roadrunner.

• Not to be confused with the Speed Metal band Poison from Bochum or the Glam Metal band from Los Angeles, CA.

Black Angel Records bootlegged cover.
