August 4, 2003 — Entombed released their eighth full-length studio album, Inferno via Music For Nations / Threeman Recordings. (Listen)

The album is a continuation of the sound heard on the bands 2001 release Morning Star, combining traditional Death Metal with Death 'N' Roll, along with various other elements and influences.

Inferno was the last album with guitarist Uffe Cederlund (who joined Disfear), bassist Jörgen Sandström and drummer Peter Stjärnvind.
