August 4, 2014 β Entombed A.D. released their first full-length studio album, Back to Front in Europe via Century Media Records.

The album was released in the United States the very next day, also via Century Media.

Originally announced by Century Media Records to be released on October 29, 2013 under the moniker "Entombed" (with the classic logo in the cover art), but was later pushed back to 2014 due to "πππππππππππππ πππππππππ ππππππππ".

Reportedly, Alex Hellid, who did not participate in the writing and recording of the album, threatened his former bandmates with legal action if they continued to record and perform under the "Entombed" name.

Vulture and the Traitor was composed and submitted to the band by original Entombed drummer Nicke Andersson.

Two official music videos were filmed; Kill to Live (watch video) and Pandemic Rage (watch video).
